This evening I decided to walk to the dam instead of paddling.
Here are some pictures from the walk.
Bag Lady.
Bees are remarkably efficient. The light colored dot at the middle of the flower is actually the leg pouch where the bee stores pollen till she gets home. OK, technically it isn’t a pouch, but it’s still cool.

Looking back down river, the River House is about down as far as you can see…
Oh look, a pebble by the side of the road. That is, if pebbles can be house-sized.
Walk was about 3 miles. And definitely more work than paddling!
